Dominique Baqueiro Vigueras (she/they), known to all as ‘Dicky’, is a 27-year-old autistic Mexican accessibility advocate. She is an interpreter, translator, content creator and project manager with a passion for transparent and inclusive communications dedicated to bridging the gaps between the various spheres of the climate and social movements.
She spearheaded the collaborative campaign “Love Letters To The Earth” that showcased over 1,000 letters in various languages such as English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Chinese and Swahili at the first ever Children and Youth Pavilion in the Blue Zone at COP27.
Dicky has interpreted at various conferences and events, most notably at COP28, New York Climate Week 2024 and the Global Gathering for Climate and Life (AntiCOP 2024). Working with various organizations throughout her trajectory within Re-Earth Initiative, among them Earth Minutes, Sauntr Media, The Climate Propagandist, the Youth Climate Collaborative and the Entertainment and Culture Pavilion.
She graduated from the Universidad La Salle Victoria with a degree in Languages and Public Relations, with a specialization in Translation and Interpretation.
In August 2021, Dicky joined Re-Earth Initiative as a researcher, transitioning to be the Creative Coordinator from 2022 to 2023. Nowadays, Dicky oversees all internal and external operations, coordinating logistics, partnerships and fundraising.
