The project ‘Transnational Youth Solidarity for Climate Justice’ builds cross-border youth resistance to fossil fuel expansion in Canada and Mexico. Led by Ritmos Climáticos, it empowers young activists in British Columbia and Baja California Sur through training, organizing workshops, and bilingual campaigns to fight projects like Saguaro LNG and LNG Canada.The initiative connects Indigenous and frontline communities, equips youth with anti-oppressive organizing tools, and supports participation in key climate events such as Azul Pacífico and LCOY BCS. By fostering transnational collaboration, the project strengthens youth leadership and builds long-term resistance against extractive industries.
Ritmos Climáticos is a youth-led collective building transnational climate justice movements across the Americas. Through art, education, and grassroots organizing, they empower young activists to resist fossil fuel expansion and protect Indigenous lands and coastal ecosystems.
