The Young Leaders in Ocean Governance (YLOG) fellowship empowers youth from coastal communities to lead in ocean management. Over 10 weeks in Bermuda, 10 fellows gain hands-on experience through internships in law, finance, and conservation, paired with workshops and mentorship.Each fellow develops a policy proposal presented to local leaders, bridging global ocean governance and local action. Supported by Bermuda’s government and private sector, YLOG builds capacity, fosters leadership, and creates career pathways in sustainable ocean management while ensuring youth voices drive community-centered ocean solutions.
The Ocean Rights Coalition empowers young leaders from coastal communities to drive sustainable ocean governance. Through education, advocacy, and the YLOG fellowship, it builds local capacity and connects youth to global marine policy and conservation networks.
