In Cycle 1, Latinas for Climate supported feminist climate action across 13 Latin American countries, organizing ecofeminist gatherings, building alliances with Indigenous and peasant movements, and strengthening community leadership in Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Ecuador.Building on this success, Latinas en COP30 aims to take these local experiences to the global stage by ensuring representation of young Latin American feminist voices at COP30. The project will connect grassroots actions with international advocacy, amplify local solutions in global climate negotiations, and ensure that women, Indigenous, and Afro-descendant youth are recognized as key actors in shaping a just and inclusive climate agenda.

Latinas for Climate is a Latin America-based international network that seeks to contribute to the fight for intersectional climate justice through the visibility of ecofeminist perspectives, climate education and empowerment rooted in gender, and projects that generate awareness and change in diverse communities.
