The GreenCheck Solidarity Academy (GSA), a youth-led organization, is a global training and internship program empowering young people from the Global South to lead in climate justice. In Cycle 1, the Academy trained and placed interns with partner organizations, combining a one-month learning phase with three months of hands-on climate action. The program built intercultural dialogue and long-term solidarity across MAPA regions, enabling participants with no prior experience to enter the climate space. In Cycle 2, GreenCheck aims to expand the Academy’s reach, strengthen equitable funding for trainers and interns, and continue fostering an inclusive, justice-driven global climate movement.

GreenCheck is a youth-led nonprofit that advances global climate justice by serving as a grassroots-centric intermediary. They redistribute resources to community-led MAPA climate initiatives and build international communities of solidarity, ultimately empowering local communities to reach their goals.
