The project “Agroecología comunitaria y laboratorio de ideas para cuidar nuestro cuerpoterritorio” by Colectiva La Maricada promotes food sovereignty and ecological justice for marginalized LGBTTTIQ+ communities in Honduras.Through three stages, knowledge exchange with rural allies, virtual seminars with environmental and human rights defenders, and a collective ideas lab, the project fosters sustainable agroecological practices and builds a community garden. This initiative strengthens ties between queer, Indigenous, and rural collectives, promoting resilience, collaboration, and autonomy while addressing food insecurity, urban marginalization, and environmental degradation.
