The Project

In Cycle 1, Grown in Haiti’s Regenerative Agroforestry Program advanced sustainable farming and community resilience in Cap Rouge. The team trained 24 farmers in composting, companion planting, and Regenerative Rings to boost soil health and biodiversity. They set up four demo plots as “living classrooms,” distributed 800 saplings and 50 toolkits, and saw yields rise by 20–30%, with improved soil moisture and pollinator activity. Despite challenges, the project strengthened food security and built a network of practitioners replicating the model. In Cycle 2, they plan to expand to schools and distribute 1,000 more saplings for reforestation and food production.
