The Escuela de Educadores Ambientales by Jóvenes por el Clima Argentina strengthens environmental education across six provinces in Argentina. This three-month national program trains 150 high school students aged 15–18 to become youth environmental educators.Through interactive weekly sessions and mentorship, participants learn about climate change, sustainability, and leadership. They design 50 community-based environmental projects that will reach over 10,000 students nationwide.By fostering inclusion across urban, rural, and vulnerable areas, the program builds a network of empowered youth leading local climate action and advancing the implementation of Argentina’s Environmental Education Law.
Jóvenes por el Clima Argentina is a youth climate movement born in 2019 as the Argentine chapter of the Fridays For Future movement. Their efforts over the past four years have resulted in nationwide climate demonstrations and the passage of key legislations.
