The Project

The Agri Learn and Talks project focuses on donating suitable crop seedlings for agricultural purposes to farmers. In Cycle 1, they conducted Educational Workshops on topics such as sustainable farming, climate mitigation, soil conservation, and waste management in 6 regions in Western Kenya, where 300 farmers participated and benefited.The organization distributed seedlings, including 104 bags of maize and bean seedlings. Fertilizer distribution of the Diammonium phosphate (DAP) of 90kg and Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) of 50kg to 50 families to aid in their farming activities. Through this, Elizabeth’s organization reduced the impact of food hunger in Siaya County, Kenya.In Cycle 2, the organization is looking forward to expanding similar activities in the North-Eastern part of Kenya to empower marginalized women and youths who have little to no opportunities.
