The REpower the Youth for Social and Policy Change project by the Negrosanon Initiative for Climate and the Environment (NICE) empowers young people in Negros Occidental, Philippines, to engage in renewable energy policy advocacy.Through capacity-building workshops, intergenerational dialogues, and meetings with government officials, the project equips youth with the knowledge and skills to influence legislative processes and promote a just energy transition.As a first-time grantee, NICE aims to strengthen civic participation, bridge generational leadership gaps, and position young advocates as key drivers of climate and energy policy reform in the ‘Renewable Energy Hopespot’ of the Philippines.
