At the Latin American Observatory of Energy Geopolitics, this student project’s goal is to provide electricity access to 40 families at the rural settlement of Alto Mishagua, Cusco in the Peruvian Amazon, making communication and access to information possible for the inhabitants, while fostering intergenerational justice by connecting youth and children to education access.The purpose of this project is to combine knowledge so that, on one hand, the population of Alto Mishiagua has access to renewable, safe, sustainable and modern energy, while on the other hand, that the locals are part of the process and implementation of this project, in accordance with their ancestral worldview.

The grantee is group of students and energy transition practitioners from the Latin American Observatory of Geopolitics of Energy at the University for Latin American Integration, with a goal to provide electricity access to 40 families at the rural settlement of Alto Mishagua, Cusco in Peruvian Amazon.
