The goal of the project is to empower 150 rural small holder farmers in the southwest and northwest regions of Cameron, which are severely affected by a civil war crisis, with regenerative agriculture.The project will provide them with skills and information, and drought resistant native seeds to rebuild their degraded communities, improve livelihoods and combat climate change in these abandoned communities.CLISSD plans to create a regenerative farmers’ cooperative where regenerative farmer group members from different communities and regions can share knowledge, sell their farm products and discuss issues of regenerative agriculture and climate change.
