The Land Transformation Cohort is an educational and action based project that will train and build a cohort of 5-7 regionally diverse Indigenous licensed real estate agents and form a support system to create a preliminary tool-kit to pass onto future cohorts.The project will help facilitate land accessibility to Indigenous peoples and will aid in eliminating environmental and socioeconomic injustices. It will also take place virtually as the goal is to train Indigenous real estate agents in their respective areas to eventually scale-up their goals on acquiring #LandBack for their ancestral communities.This indigenous-led project helps centers ecological justice by decolonizing industries that are a crux of settler power and land/wealth hoarding, and could serve as a powerful model of how the climate movement can work alongside Indigenous peoples towards a regenerative future.
