CAD works to offer rapid response support in cases of immediate risk but also to build capacity and structures within the movement to prevent risks and train others to react to them. This dual purpose is what this project aims to focus on.This safety support provides immediate relief for activists at risk, as well as further training and resources to build resilience inside the activists collective and community. CAD wants to establish an organic network of trained key individuals inside the youth climate justice movement.CAD will provide support to Climate Justice Activists whose wellbeing and livelihoods are being threatened due to persecution for climate activism, restricted ability to evade immediate risk, dangers directly attributed to the effects of climate crisis as members of, frontline communities, and/or resource constraints.
