The Kapeni Reforestation and Conservation project is a one year program to complete the implementation of activities across four key project components.One, community mobilization for increased participation in the management and rehabilitation of natural resources and the environment involving all members of the community especially women who are the main beneficiaries. Two, tree planting, specifically forestry, agro-forestry, and fruit trees.Three, construction of firewood saving stoves in order to save trees, and lastly, the regeneration of the already existing forest activities. In order to achieve the intended objectives, a number of capacity building and training sessions for the members of the community, especially women, will be conducted by CHIREHO organization.
